IBS: Why your symptoms keep flaring no matter how many foods you cut out - and what to do instead
Low-FODMAP. Gluten-free. Dairy-free. You’ve read the labels, kept the food diary, said no at the restaurant - and your stomach still swells by the afternoon. In this free 60-minute masterclass I’ll show you why your IBS isn’t just about the food on your plate, why the same meal is fine one day and agony the next, and what actually calms a reactive gut so you can stop cutting things out.

You’ve done everything they told you to do for your IBS. So why is your stomach still running your life?
You did low-FODMAP properly. The bloating still came back the moment you reintroduced anything.
Gluten gone. Dairy gone. Onion, garlic, beans, coffee gone. Your plate keeps shrinking and your symptoms don't.
By 4pm your stomach is so distended you undo your waistband and hope nobody notices.
You know where every toilet is on your commute, in the office, at the restaurant.
You've said no to dinners, holidays and days out because you couldn't trust your gut that day.
Some days a meal is completely fine. The same meal next week leaves you doubled over.
Your GP ran the tests, said everything looks normal, and sent you away with 'it's just IBS'.
You lie awake at 2am googling your symptoms, wondering what you're still missing.
You haven’t failed at this. You’ve been handed food rules for IBS - a condition that was never only about food.
The list of IBS advice you’ve already tried is long
And you’re still bloated, still uncomfortable, still worrying before every meal. That isn’t a discipline problem. It’s a starting-point problem - and on the masterclass I’ll show you the one that actually fits an IBS gut.
Save my free seat- Cutting out one more food group, then another, until eating feels frightening
- A cupboard of probiotics, peppermint oil and gut powders that changed nothing
- Low-FODMAP with no proper reintroduction, so you never came off it
- Being told to 'reduce your stress' with no idea what that actually means for your gut
- Buscopan, laxatives and antispasmodics that mask the symptom and never touch the cause
- Instagram gut protocols written for someone whose life looks nothing like yours
Two roads with an IBS gut
What happens when you only cut food out - and what happens when you calm the gut instead
The five things you’ll walk away understanding about your IBS
01
Why food elimination stopped working for you
You cut out the trigger foods and the symptoms still found you. We'll look at why an IBS gut keeps reacting even on the 'safe' list - and why more restriction makes it more reactive, not less.
02
Why the same meal is fine one day and agony the next
If your gut had a fixed food trigger you'd have found it by now. We'll unpack what actually changes between the good days and the bloated, urgent, painful ones.
03
The gut–brain connection nobody explained to you
Your gut has its own nervous system, and it listens to everything. This is the piece most IBS advice skips completely - and it's usually why diet alone never held.
04
The IBS symptoms you'd never link to your gut
Exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix, brain fog, low mood, poor sleep, worsening symptoms around your cycle. We'll join the dots you've been carrying separately.
05
Three things to start this week
Practical, gentle first steps you can begin the very next morning - and not one of them involves removing another food from your plate.
Bring your IBS questions - we’ll finish with time for them.
Book my placeIs this IBS masterclass right for you?
This is for you if
- You've done low-FODMAP, gluten-free or dairy-free and you're still bloated
- Your gut flares hardest in your busiest, most stressful weeks
- You're exhausted, foggy and sleeping badly, and you suspect it's all connected
- You've been told it's just IBS and you refuse to accept that
- You're in your late 30s, 40s and beyond and your gut has changed on you
- You want to eat out, travel and get dressed without thinking about your stomach first
This isn’t for you if
- You want one supplement that makes IBS disappear
- You're after another elimination diet or a printable meal plan
- You're not willing to look at anything beyond food
- You'd rather keep cutting foods out than understand why your gut reacts
- You need a medical diagnosis rather than an understanding of your symptoms
Picture a day where your IBS never once crosses your mind
Getting dressed without checking whether the waistband will still fit by dinner
Saying yes to the meal out without scanning the menu in fear
Travelling, commuting and sitting through meetings without mapping the toilets
Eating bread, onion, or proper coffee again without waiting for the consequences
Waking up with energy instead of fog, heaviness and dread
A flat, comfortable stomach by the end of the day, not just first thing in the morning
Trusting your body again after years of feeling let down by it
Getting through a stressful week without your IBS making it worse

I lived with IBS for almost twenty years. I know the food diaries, the elimination lists, the toilet-mapping, the outfit chosen around the bloating - and the appointment where you’re told your tests are normal and it’s just something to live with.
Since 2018 I’ve worked with women who are holding down careers and families while quietly managing bloating, urgency and food fear. Almost every one of them arrives having already cut out far more than they should have to.
On this masterclass I’m sharing the shift that changes everything for my IBS clients - the one nobody had told them about.
What changed for women living with IBS
“It was really eye-opening to see that so many elements have contributed to the issues I was having, not just the food I was eating, but my lifestyle and stresses too.”
“I would most definitely recommend Rebecca as she's personable, caring and gentle in her approach. Also she makes it logically do-able!”
Your IBS masterclass questions, answered
I've already done low-FODMAP. Will this just tell me to do it again?+
No. This masterclass is specifically for women who've already done the diets and are still symptomatic. We look at what sits underneath the food reactions, not at another elimination protocol.
What if I can't make it live?+
Register anyway. Everyone who signs up gets the replay, so you can watch it when your evening allows.
How long is it, and what's the format?+
Around 60 minutes live on Zoom - a teaching session from me, then time for your IBS questions at the end.
Do I need a formal IBS diagnosis?+
Not at all. If you've never been diagnosed and just call it a sensitive stomach or your 'tummy troubles', you're in the right place.
My symptoms are mostly bloating rather than urgency. Is it still relevant?+
Yes. Bloating, distension, constipation, urgency, pain, or an unpredictable mix of all of them - they all come back to the same underlying picture we'll be covering.
How do I join?+
